Free Networking Workshop for European Grants to be hosted at InnoHealth

The Innohealth Forum 2025, the leading pan-European event in the health sector, is launching an exclusive networking workshop focused on European grants. Designed to connect and empower industry leaders so they can position themselves strategically for upcoming EU calls, the workshop will take place on 26/9, from 10:30 to 13:30 (Greek time).

What the workshop includes

Policy and Funding Directions from the European Commission

Specialised speakers from the European Commission will guide participants on how to align their project ideas with key policy priorities and secure funding ahead of the 2025 call deadlines.

Structured Networking Session

Dynamic, results-oriented networking sessions will foster collaborations within an active ecosystem of health researchers, solution providers and support organisations. Participants will engage in targeted, fast-paced exchanges and strategic collaboration opportunities.

  • Participate in short, focused meetings with rapid rotations to maximise networking and highlight shared priorities.
  • Follow guided questions to explore complementary skills, project gaps and potential roles in consortia.
  • Take part in interactive networking challenges that reveal “hidden matches” based on organisational profiles and innovation interests.

Presentation of Real-World Challenges

In an Open Chat format, stakeholders from different sectors will present implementation challenges on the path towards a smart, sustainable and digitally enabled healthcare system. These may include:

  • Technology providers seeking testing and validation environments
  • Hospitals and public authorities in need of innovative, scalable solutions
  • Researchers aiming to translate health data into real-world impact
    Patient organisations and citizens advocating for accessibility and trust

The workshop is aimed at stakeholders who want to leverage European networks for their research and innovation projects and showcase their organisation to a targeted audience.

Organisation

The workshop is organised by the Institute of Entrepreneurship Development (iED) in collaboration with the European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) Health Hub.

With more than 500 EU co-funded projects and over 1,000 innovation stakeholders across Europe, iED and the EDIH Health Hub aim to strengthen collaboration within the Health and Digital Health ecosystem, bringing together researchers, technology providers, healthcare professionals, policy makers and patient associations.

How to Participate

Participation is free of charge, but by invitation only. To secure your place, please follow the steps below:

  • Invitation & Registration: Selected participants will receive a registration form via email. If you are interested but have not received an invitation, please contact projects@ied.eu to express your interest and request further information.
  • Eligibility: Applicants should have intermediate to advanced experience in EU co-funded projects and represent one of the Quadruple Helix stakeholder groups.
  • Deadline: Please submit your participation by 8 September 2025. Participants will receive confirmation and preparatory material by 12 September 2025.
